I am guessing that they are sold in Canada, but this was cruising down the road here in PA. Didn't catch the plates.

MB USA is headquartered in New Jersey as I recall. You're on the wrong side of PA for that to be the explanation though. I can't imagine they'd ever try to sell that here.

They do sell them here in Canada. My neighbor has one. His husband has an f150.

Mercedes has gone back and forth on whether or not to sell these in the U.S. The success of cars like the MINI and the Fiat 500 are supposedly tilting M-B into strongly considering bringing in the 2nd gen "B" which has just been introduced.
In the U.K., these sell for about 33% MORE than a "similarly engined" Mazda 3 (both with 1.6 liter engines). Or maybe a better comparison would be to a Mazda 5...in which case the U.K. prices are quite close. Having said that, CAR does NOT recommend these as they are considered to be "...slow and pricey. Save up for Audi's mini SUV Q3 instead."
