thunderranch is supposed to be highly respected.
I would do one.. but much like a 7.. New Jersey makes it near impossible as they would give it a current VIN tag that would require it to be OBD2 compliant

I got a ride in a Beck 550. Very open to the elements, and very quick. It's like a damn go-kart. His has a 150 horsepower Type 1 engine. About 1500 pounds. Stunned.
Then I got to ride in a Beck 904. THAT was purely gutteral. Bone stock 993 3.6 that pushed 1800 pounds quite quickly!

if I wanted to do a 550. It would be an injected type 4 2.0.. with a 911 style fan shroud converstion. It would also be mated to a 901 transmission out of a 914 for more comfortible highway cruising
