    @ apexspeed.com - I HATE web sites that make you register to be able to see pictures! Next to having music on a web site, it is the #1 reason I would avoid the site.

    Yup. Drives me NUTS when people post links in a forum I read to a thread full of pictures that I can't see on another forum. This isn't particularly directed at the OP, I've probably inadvertently done it myself. The problem isn't so much with the users, but the sites that block images just so they can artificially increase their subscriber numbers. It's often not clear as a forum member that outsiders won't be able to see your thread as you posted it.
