My childhood one I'm restoring was free, but similar models are $100-$500. I recommend at least a 5HP engine and tires capable of off-pavement work. Get a "name brand" kart and not a knock off or homebuilt so you can buy parts. It's been so nice to order everything for mine out of a catalog.
