Well along with Alfa Driver and all other Ford employees I use the acronym SHO not the abbreviation S.H.O.
So then if the S-H-O is show then it follows that you call the S-E-L the "sell"? Right because if you are going to sound out the letters in the model name you have to do it for all of them.
Really, outside of the SVT and SHO packages, nobody ever talks about trim levels. Mainly since the SVT and SHO variants are generally powertrain/chassis work, so they are VERY different in our world.
Work wise- I've never really said SE, SEL, Limited, etc. For what I do, it just doesnt matter. SHO matters.
Then again, I still find in amusing that how one pronounces the name really matters. The car is selling quite well, and I'm pretty sure that every one of you who is debating how it should be said isn't going to buy one, new. The age of the $40k Taurus SHO is here, and it's selling. Selling well.
(Oh, and for those of you who thought the $27-35k Taurus would fail vs. a 20k Camry- well, sales are pointing out that they are not in the same class. So far, Taurus sales are quite a bit above projection, too.
