as the title says... should I use this in either of my cars ?

I was given 5 qts of Amsoil 0w30 ... both the Integra DD and the CRX track and a-x (highway driven to and from events) have always used Amsoil 10w30... first choice is the CRX ... any reason not to use ?

I don't see why not. Similar brands and compositions, just different cold weights. Provided cold weather operations isn't a concern, I wouldn't be worried about it.

Use it while it's cold, assuming it gets cold where you live.

yes it gets cold here...(20° here this morning) if in the Integra the only real usage it'll get will be the trip to the Rolex... I was thinking of this being the" over the winter and the start of the next season oil" for the CRX ... the first track session is in Feb and so will be the first a-x's ... anybody see any problem with it as a track oil ?

I used it for years in my ZX2SR, summer and winter. I have some now in my Fiesta.

+1 for use as winter oil. For a track oil...it theoretically shouldn't make a difference but I'd stay on the safe side and stick with the higher cold viscosity, especially if your engine's worn.

    0w30's fine cold or hot

I also used it in my s/r for years. I like the "german castrol" 0w30 as I can buy it anywhere.

    100k .. 80psi on start up, highway speed (partial throttle) 65 - 70 psi... when hot at idle ~ 15 - 20 psi....

it's time for an oil change ( would rather let it sit with fresh oil than old).... won't be driven this winter ... other than a dyno session in Jan... first track session in Feb

or would it be a better bet to just put it in the Integra as a regular oil change ... then go back to the 5w30 next summer ?

I have yet to find this mythical beast. I think it resides with Bigfoot.

Canadian Tire sells it, Walmart sometimes carries it too. It's Castrol Syntec 0w30. The label is slightly different from the 5w,10w varieties and it says "made in Germany" on the back.
