Here is a real fantasy car.

Even cooler is that one of my favorite musicians--Rob Dickinson formerly of the Catherine Wheel--designed the thing. As Classic Motorsports readers might recall, he and his car were in a modded 911 shootout.

    This is just too sweet.

This is my new "if I hit the lotto" car. Very sweet.

I feel funny in my pants.

That is THE perfect Porsche in my book. Now to win the lotto............

That is the ultimate 911. End of paragraph, end of story.

Sorry, but as sweet as that car is, it desperately deserves an RSR duck-tail:

Until then, it's not quite finished.

Judging from the chatter on the Porsche forums, there's going to be HUGE demand for that Singer tail if it ever becomes available on it's own.

Agreed. I could totally see that sitting next to my LP400S Countach in my immense garage.

<--runs out to buy Powerball ticket.

I'm sorry, I can't put cool and 911 in the same sentence.

While I understand what the guy has done and applaud him for his efforts, it's still an old ugly car.

Yes, I know it's sacrilegious to say and maybe he's corrected the snap oversteer issue and the VW like power but he can't do anything about the feel. C'mon guys have you ever driven one of these things? Drive one of these and a VW Beetle back to back and it's hard to tell them apart.

It screams kit car to me because the old kit cars were usually a VW with more power and that's what the Porsche feels like.

carguy123 needs to change his screen name. He cannot be a car guy with that attitude. A 930 is my ultimate car. I did have a 86 911 turbo look, and loved it greatly. Best looking car ever made IMO

Carguy123 is correct in that the old 911s drive differently. But that feel is what many people love about the cars. Some people think a car is all about what it does, but the 911 (and 914 and 356) are very special to people who care how a car feels.

No, I love many, many cars, but my old dune buggy and VW kit car days ruined me for any Porsche except for maybe a Boxster or the GT

That is understandable. Ever since I had a Fiero, I don't want any Lamborghini or Ferrari.

Obviously you haven't driven a 911 and a VW beetle, but have you driven a Fiero based Lamborghini kit? Me either, but I'd like to try one.

I owned a 72 Beetle and 72 911 at the same time. The interiors had the same smell, but otherwise a VERY different driving experience.
