And yeah - low COG is the buzzword dujour in off roading. Big tires to get diff clearance and the ability to roll over big stuff, coupled with little or no lift and a lot of body trimming to keep it stable.

I disagree with the "gamechanging/trendsetting" comments as well, as I stated earlier this started long before he could drive in Germany. And also like I stated earlier I like the cars, but not the douchebag attitude that alot of those guys have.
I mean really? When I built S52 car with BBK, etc. I could have much more cheaply thrown stiffer springs on my coilovers, bought a set of BBS RSs and slammed it for less money.
However, the car is sitting on ASTs with an S54 swap (E46 M3/Z4M engine), that alone has pushed you past the $10k mark.

Most of you seem to forget that HellaFlush isn't about demon camber. Demon camber is just a few scattered crazies doing it wrong. Most of us in the stance scene don't think that excessive camber leads to a good looking car. It's all about a balance between the drop, wheel fitment, stretch, and body work (among other things) that gives a car great stance.
It's funny that no matter what forum a stance hating thread pops up, Mike Burroughs is mentioned. He started building his E36 way before he even bought his no famous E28, Rusty. The E36 has gone through a long process and really is built to perfection. His E28 and his E36 are built for different purposes.
People here are in to cars that handle well, people over at StanceWorks are into cars that look great. Pretty much end of story. Only difference is that quite a few people at SW also go weak in the knees when we see a well built track car. Rauh-welt much?

Anyway, here's a video showing the builder of that E36 talking about it ("upped the springrates considerably [like 1500lbs maybe?
]" and "sits about 2 - 3" off the ground and never bottoms out; and handles like its on rails". Right.... The thing must have 1 - 2" or so of suspension travel, but in the video you can see it being driven. Mind you its on the same small patch of billiard-smooth pavement, but hey, it does seem to be "streetable".... God forbid you encounter a speed bump somewhere, tho....
