When you do this to it.... Miata fans you may want to make sure you have an empty stomach.

Wow, two ugly Miata threads at once. We need something to offset the horrible.

A long day with some good rubbing compound, hope the red base coat survives.

Not worth the effort; there's plenty of unmolested ones available.

    Current bid: $217.50

If the other messed up miata sees this one it will get some of its self esteem back. That's a train wreck compared to the Alfa Miata. (where's the puke emoticon)

It would be pretty fun to remove all the stereo equipment put in a decent suspension and maybe a sc or turbo, some decent wheels and tires and show up at an autox. Nobody would suspect you to actually be fast in a car that looked like that.

I kinda like it. At least its painted and not a wrap. I hate wraps.

Yes, that's a bolt-up dyno. Much more accurate than a drum. Here's an old writeup about it: http://www.flyinmiata.com/tech/rototest.php

The "skull car" was hand-painted. It was terrifying to work around, I was always afraid of damaging the paint.

    In reply to Keith:

I'd be worried the paint job might berkeley up that beauty of a dyno.

Okay, there are now 5 bids, and it's made a precipitous climb all the way up to $222.62.

On the skull car: just think how many race tires he could have bought with that money...
