As some of you Miata owners with rollbars who are light in the loafers might know, Solomiata.com went down at the end of October when AOL shut down their hosting service. Well, thanks to Flyin' Miata, it's back up. All that info put together by Randy Stocker was too good to lose.

I'm working on fixing up the interface so you can get to all the pages (ever try to find a link to the cam page on the previous version?) and it's going to be expanded and updated as time goes on. I'm still working on getting all of the old info back together so if your favorite page is missing, it'll soon be back.

Yay! Thanks FM! When I saw the notice that AOL Homepages was going down, I archived the site myself. Randy put a ton of effort into that site. It's a shame he's no longer playing with Miatas.

I look forward to the updates you mention :).

    Thanks.

There's a typo on the block page. http://solomiata.com/BP8.php

    The phrase:

The 1.6 pipe is the shortest. The 1.8 pipes are longer since they have to account for the additional length of the oil cooler. The 99 pipe is in the middle and the 90-98 pipe is the longest. The 99+ pipe part number is BP4W-10-319.

    Should read:

and the 94-98 pipe is the longest.

There are many errors, omissions and typos. I'm just trying to get the pages back up right now. The typo you described has probably been on the page since 2001

I guess it's true what they say about Miatas? Not that there's anything wrong with that...

Thank you. I've had to try to scrape up cached versions of that site twice in the last month.

Another great service provided by Flyin' Miata. Thanks Keith!

I had the privilege of autocrossing with Randy on a number of occasions back when I lived in ATL. We both regularly worked in the trailer doing T&S, and I always used the opportunity to become better educated on a number of Miata topics :-)
