It's not a huge deal, since I'm pretty sure that the deal is getting done later today, but I was surprised and irritated. I'm also pretty sure that it wasn't the guy who's buying the car.

Copy and paste if it doesn't go through. Competitors will flag so more people see theirs. I flag the ones that are not price right. For instance: $25 - "I'm asking $2500."

I accidently flagged someone's car ad the other night while trying to scroll on my touch phone. Accidents happen, too.

Usually it takes a lot more than one flag to have it removed. The amount is based on the activity on the section. NYC requires more than Maine for example.

Glad it's sold: It's too damn tempting, and I can't afford to lose the wife right now. Good luck with it.

Maybe it was someone here trying to save you from yourself?

For what it's worth Woody, I saw your ad on the Vermont craigslist. I opened it up, and was like, hey I know that car.
That thing should sell.

I guess that some local was ticked off that I was from out of state. I was pretty up front in the ad. I thought that someone from Vermont might be interested in a rust free WRX that was only 90 minutes to the South. And with the frequency that I pass through St. Johnsbury, I could have delivered it anywhere along 91.

That's probably it.. Craigslist ads are supposed to be local and a lot of people will flag based on being out of area. 90 minutes is really reasonable, though. I wouldn't bother to flag unless it's, say, an ad for a car in Florida listed in the Columbus, Ohio CL. That's just dumb!

The flagged CL listing is no longer an issue. The WRX went to it's new owner this afternoon.
