Last year I spectated, and was not charged anything. I don't know if it's changed. It was a lot of fun watching without the pressure to compete.

This is my third year being at the challenge. I didn't pay the first year, but I worked with a team last year, so I payed up for a banquet ticket. I bought a banquet ticket again this year because I'm going with another team I feel that it's worth the ticket for the amount of fun to be had at the event.
Short answer is that it's free to spectate, so come on down. Make friends with some people while you're there, there's a ton of builds going on in the area, and most people love a hand every once in a while.

Spectators are absolutely welcome.
Webcams aren't officially in the cards for this year, but we will be posting regular updates.

yeah, what Tom said....
Keep in mind that although spectating at the track is free, the banquet is not. All that food and drink costs plenty of $$$, so unfortunately, it is limited to the participants.
Spectating is a blast though.....especially for the drags!
