    You need to dial up This Guy. My wife, then girlfriend, bought me a ride in his Stearman and it was GLORIOUS. I can't recommend it enough. Also, a great plane museum at the same airport.

    You can ride with him without going through Fantasy of Flight, too. He flies out of our local airport:

    It's nice to hear those radials working the skies and even better to catch an occasional glimpse on my side of town. It doesn't happen often enough.

    I'm happy to fly my L3 . Vintage racing is chewing up all my free time these days, so eventually, it'll have to go on the block (and I'll just rent).
