I just realized my first post doesnt have any artwork on it, silly me putting stencil art without there being artwork. here is some stuff. I just made that wagovan shirt, first car-themed shirt I've made. Also, there's a tie fighter shirt im making for fun!

Lose the image tags and they'll work. I think you went by Farnsworth on the old board, (you did a stencil of my Fiat for me.)

My bad, I see you've worked that out

How much were the stencils? If you need any new "models" feel free to use this: Photobucket or anything good from here: http://s228.photobucket.com/albums/ee142/cghstang/RallyCross%20Escort/

So how much do you charge to do one of these? Have you ever placed these stencils on a t-shirt?

I'll give you guys some specs. They measure 9X13 ( to make shipping a whole lot easier ) and they are done on wood. I would charge $35 shipped for the already made ones and a little more for custom jobs. BUT, all prices are negotiable and would take a good offer, the prices aren't set in stone. Also, I want to put them on a shirt, but I havent found a way, but I would love to do that. If anyone has any shirt making friends I'd love to hear how it could be done.

The stencils are done on wood?? That's interesting. I had thought they were just colored pencil on a hard drawing paper (pardon my ignorance when it comes to artsy stuff, that's the domain of my sister she's good, like you). If you do them on paper you could scan them at a very high resolution and I think you can just go to cafepress.com and make your own shirts. I think you should work with GRM to make a whole series of shirts. hint hint

If I put them on paper I am pretty sure the paper would start to krinkle and fold up because of all the paint on it. But Im fairly certain that I can scan them while they're on this wood. I'll try that.

Dude - your work is getting better and better all the time. Very cool medium, and excellent execution. KUDOS!

PS: Have you gotten any work from redpepper? I'd be tempted to grab a red 1st gen CRX and/or 3rd gen. hatch.

I did this one for a customer a while ago. Wish I had taken better pics of it before I sent it to him.

Great to see all of those Hondas.

I need to keep this in mind when my wife asks me what I want for Christmas.

Dude, you just got me through Christmas on the cheap. I'm buying you a beer next time you're around Boston.

Dude. You totally need to scan these and offer them on T-shirts.

cafepress.com it, baby! Also check out shirt.woot.com a for a while and watch the side deals at the top of the screen. You might find some sites on there that might be willing to work with you. Have you done a '69 Camaro yet? I'd pick up one of those to go with my girls '69 for Christmas...

600 lb. Watercolor paper would probably do the trick. But Masonite, or whatever wood you're using is probably better (more economical) for your customers, should they decide to have them framed. Did I mention I'm the (un) official picture framer of Grassroots Motorsports!?

Not a problem. ;-) That offer's open at all times! I have no GRM friends up here yet.
