Thats an LT1. $50k? No thanks. lol I could have bought the maserati quattroporte I saw in pick and pull a couple of cars ago for like $800, another $250 for an Lt1, and built a car just as interesting as that one for less than $5k. lol

dont like the wheels, or the price, but neat car... so you spend 50k on that one, or just buy an avanti , which are already set up for v8 chevys, and have a similar , but more classic, look... and for probably under 6k or so, you could pick up this body , and a 90's model caprice and do it grassroots style.. http://tampa.craigslist.org/hdo/cto/1160062280.html

924, I hear what your saying but a Lagonda and an Avanti do not look similar. I think you could apply your idea to something like a Volvo 780 Bertone and have a more similar (still a stretch) looking car with LT1 power for cheap.

about 3 or 4 of those show up at the local brit car show every year... I am a sucker for boxy british cars...
that car really needs to be lowered about an inch, tack on some box flares (every car looks better with box flares), and widen the track about 4 inches, and run a low profile sporty tire on some track oriented multispokers.
(I think I have just come up with the formula for making any car look AWESOME)

I'm pretty sure I'm alone in this but I think that car is UGLY. It looks like the love child of a FC RX7, an 850i, and a boat with a dash of too many remotes (6? Really?) thrown in.

Pretty sweet, minus the wheels.
Those cars are NIGHTMARES in terms of electrics, so the change to a "normal" powerplant eliminates some of those worries.
Even w/ the Chevy mill, only the brave need apply.
Pimp car, though. I've always dug the over-the-top styling of it. Like an early 80's Caddy Seville crossed w/ TRON.

Cross with a hearse, and you get the Lagonda shooting brake.
I wouldn't ever really want one, but they definitely are cool.
Talkin' bout ugly, check out Aston's concept for the new Lagonda
. I think they modelled it on a tugboat.

The best part of that car is the dash manufactured by Texas Instruments! I can't believe they put a cheesy corvette dash in!
If they left off the chrome wheels and managed to keep the dash operational this could be one of the coolest cars.

I think thats Passenger 57 being viewed there, very appropriate. I like these cars, the wheels here are nightmarish, but the engine and dash swap are brilliant, just what the doctor ordered to allow this car to actually be used for something other than a mobile blue screen of death. Price is too high. I always thought these cars were pretty in a stark way, and white looks clean.
