Im looking for a good street / Track seat for my 05 Mustang. Any suggestions? Want something driveable for DD use and more lateral support for autocross.... Porsche seats have spoiled me and the GT feels like a lazy boy.

    Thanks.

Recaro SRD/Speed seats are the best hybrid seat out there. You can get them with a sub strap hole too.

Yes, but not seats. I'm ordering the blue/black seats in the summer. They're lighter than my Celica's stock ones.

Do you need a recline adjustment? I have recaro pole positions in my Miata and find them very comfortable for street driving.

I want a recline for sure. I had fixed back sparco's in my V8 fiero - fun for about 20 min.

Just be aware that not all groups/sanctioining bodies accept seats without some sort of certification. Most of the "racer" seats you see for sale are not certified.

Aren't the Boss seats Recaros? How could they possibly be that heavy? The 00 Cobra R Recaros are less than half that.

The unbadged Recaros in my MX6 weigh every bit of 60lbs a pop.

All Recaro seats are the same and it is completely impossible for them to have a weight difference. Do not dispute this; I am an engineer.

I just put one of these in my semi-daily driver. Then again, I am not quite right in the head.

Hey, the price was right for a like-new seat.
