What can you tell me about Subaru EJ22 and broken crank pulleys?
Is it some as simple as the not enough bolt torque, the pulley spins, and breaks the woodruff key? Is it something "easily" repairable for a hoon mobile?

Nothing JB weld can't fix :)
My EJ22 had the pulley loosen off doing a number on the keyway but I was able to tighten it back down with no problems. After that I just checked for tightness every once and a while when I'd do an oil change.
