I fully admit, when we decided to feature Subaru's new Continental Tire Challenge effort I wondered how they'd do this season. Could they really run with the V8-powered cars? Either way, it would make for a good story. Well, the latest time sheet from Barber is encouraging: http://www.grand-am.com/schedule/results.cfm?series=k&eid=1503&sid=887

Very encouraging indeed.

Nice to see the car does well on a true road course.

With 62 cars in the field, this will be a "must see" event when it finally hits the tube. SpeedTV's online schedule lists the broadcast for Saturday, April 17th at 3PM.

I'm predicting a fair amount of bumps and bruises.

Okay, so qualifying didn't go so well for the team: http://www.grand-am.com/schedule/results.cfm?series=k&eid=1503&sid=888 It's a long race, right?

On a related note, nice showing by our friends at BimmerWorld in the ST class.

In reply to David S. Wallens:

If the team had maintained their first session time, it would have qualified third. Somehow, they went backwards in a big way.
