    The more things change...

I'm looking forward to finding out more. How light did they get it?

Yeah, but the mono posto looked soooo much better than that new thing. Of course I'm mostly partial to all NB's

It's probably a roller, seeing as it's just a concept car for now... wonder if it will ever see production?

"Man drives miata speedster, get's bug in eye, sues for millions"

Doubtful the lawyers would allow that. It is really cool though. It would be interesting if they release it at least for racing only, it reminds me of old scca stock car road racing where no one had windshields like the elva courier.

Just the justification needed for some RIDICULOUS driving goggles. I'm in.

I've always wanted to drive around in a full face helmet. Now I have an excuse.

I saw a guy driving an Atom around on the street in a full face helmet. It was awesome.

It'll never see production. Mazda likes to throw a concept Miata out there once in a while - the Speedster (nee Italia), the M Coupe, the Monoposto, the Club Racer, the Zoomster and a few others. A few of the details make production (the NB doors appeared on the Speedster) but overall they're just fun. it'll be interesting to find out more about this superlight, to see if it's an aftermarket job or if Mazda was actually involved.

There was a guy in my town who'd always wear a helmet when driving his Caterham. He looked really stupid.
