    No matter what, they just look cool. Had mine for about 2 years with no isssues. I kept up with antiseize on the bolts because I was constantly trying different disk quantities.

    I would have transfered it to a third car, but it was the wrong size for my latest track rat.

    FWIW, I had two of the later alloy bodied units with stainless end caps. Actually, make that three: one on an XR250, one on an XR600 and then one on a WR400. All had to come off due to the high noise level with enough discs for the engine to make any power. I wound up with an FMF 'Q' series on the WR400, nice tone and great power. Its drawback was it needed a repack every 8 hours. Not only did it pass the AMA enduro sound tests but the local Forest Service personnel commented that the bike sounded fine to them. which is highly unusual.
