Is this a good deal? Is he on crack or is that the "good" version we got here?

Thanks for the info (and anybody else who wants to chime in).

What is a tab and why does the car need them? Does he mean Tags? Didn't we have this conversation not long ago?

I would love to find a deal like that. Around here any running Celica is at minimum 1500 and if it looks as clean as that one it's 3000.

I'm dying for a rally cross car. That would work well for me.

Seems like a solid deal to me. If the white hatch comes with it, and it's otherwise clean and driveable, i'd take it.

In reply to Brett_Murphy:

They are tags in the PNW. They are called Tabs because they are little "tabs" of reflective stickers that go on the license plates.

What Registration is called in this state. A tab is the little year sticker you put on the rear plates. Plates are good for 7 years (total BS) or life if they are vintage plates that match the car (1973 plate on a 73 for example).

AFAIK that's basically a regular 5SFE engine found in every 90s 4cyl Camry. I can't see it being a $500 engine.

From what I can tell, it's a real GTS, which is the widebody, and yeah, the 2.2 is a 5SFE, which is a Camry engine, so it'll die a fiery death in the first corner. Blerg. Is it even worth calling?

5SFE isn't too bad, just bolt all the 3SGTE stuff onto it :)

If you're referencing the GRM Camry, that was a V6. Does the 5S have the same oiling issues as the V6?

Afaik only the gt four came with the 3sgte and the 5sfe is torquey and bulletproof but not revvy.
