Wow.... words escape me, sorry to hear about the accident.

How is your C30 on gas? The numbers on the window sticker are pretty un-flattering, I think, for a smaller car like that. Always did like them though.

Well I don't accept that $4 gas is expensive, as I detailed the other day I was paying that in 1994 in the UK. So to me gas isn't too bad.

If I drive as if there's an egg between my foot and the accel pedal I can get 27mpg (8.7L/100km) If I drive like I stole it I'm down to 23 mpg (10.2L/100km), normally day to day driving I get 24-25mpg (9.4-9.8L/100km. My normal commute is 50% surface streets and 50% busy (lot's of slow downs) freeway. On a long run it can do better but usually doesn't as I tend to cruise at normal Michigan freeway speed, i.e. you need to drop your speed by 20mph as soon as you cross into Ohio if you ever make that mistake

I'm starting to get a couple at the front of the hood, so as an added bonus I'm losing some nose weight at the same time.

Thanks guys. You've gave me some ideas. Now all I have to do is the research.
