That's an exceptionally narrow-minded reason. It's tantamount to those that still think "not a Hyundai" is an inherently good thing because the cars Hyundai sold here in the late 80s and early 90s were crap.

Not at all. I am not a Mustang Fan. It's a personal opinion on a car that I do not like. Does not make it "narrow minded". I've driven several of the new mustangs and I do not like the feel, I don't like the look and they just feel massive.

It's an opinion. We are still allowed those.

Well, due to the effect that connotation has on the meaning of a sentence, I'm going to have to maintain that what you said, as you said it, is narrow-minded. Not liking the way the car feels and disliking it "because it's a Mustang" are entirely two different things.

That said, I think both cars are hideous, and hated the 2012 Mustang I rode in.

that's going to happen about the time you buy a non-crapcar.

Adding another option in the market is good for everyone. So that is why "because it's not a mustang" is not narrow minded. It's a good thing for all of us.

You did enjoy your Swift, right?

Meh.... It was "unique". I loved the G13B engine, but what it was strapped to left a lot to be desired. There was something about that ungodly sound at 8500rpms that was mildly intoxicating... hence why I want one of those in a Seven.

    I'm just yankin' your chain.

I like "unique" cars. I have a few.

I don't get it, this is better than the new (and already availible to purchase used) Mustang how?

Of course this statement is also narrowminded. If we used it as logic, the only car that has a v8 that we need is a Mustang.

I really do not care for high powered cars.. but I am a fan of both the Mustang AND Hyundai, so I agree.. the more choices the better.

I can recommend some vehicle dynamics books if you're interested in getting out of that ignorance hole.

Agreed, V8Supercars seem to do OK on a 9". On a flat surface a solid rear end can be every bit as good as a independent rear.

on a flat smooth surface.. all you need is a solid rear axle.. but I can tell you... there are very few flat smooth roads around here.. I remember driving my fiat spider, with it's 4 link plus panhard setup.. a bumpy curve could shift the rear to the outside of the corner pretty quickly

More options is nice. But until it makes it to production I'm not going to get worked up.
