i don't know anything about 3rd gen pathfinders.. but..

About the only issue we've had with ours has been the fuel pressure regulator/pump assembly. This went out at 77k. Shocks are also pretty toasty at 84k.
Other that that. Gas, drive, repeat. Change the oil occasionally.
