It's funny, they only brought about 1500 of those into the US. I'd guess that at least 5% of the remaining ones are for sale at any one time. They might be rare, but they're not hard to find!
Fun little guys to drive, but it's like caring for an exotic in some ways.

Tim is selling a 325ix on eBay right now: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/BMW-3-Series-BMW-3-series-BMW-325ix-AWD-E30-Coupe-p... It needs some work (most expensively, a transfer case) but it looks like it's going to go cheap.
