6 second gap for OA position after 24 hours! Wow!

    And yes, go Ford GT!

Just switched over to the Audi site, the in car view is pretty damn cool. They just announced that Robertson is going to let his wife take the checkered in the Ford GT as an anniversary present. Gonna be tough to beat that anniversary present next year.

The speed that the Audi and Pug's get through the corners is amazing.

Watching the Corvette feed of the cool down lap is pretty cool.

Yeah, congratulations to Robertson Racing. By the way, Ed Senf, who has tuned several GRM project cars and hangs with us at Daytona, does engine support for the Robertson Racing Ford GT. In fact, he chatted with our Facebook group last night (which for him was very, very early in the morning).

I'm not going to read this thread yet, I've recorded the race and am at about 6:30 to go, but I just had to post this.

At about 6:40 to go when the Audi was the Puegeot sandwich my wife suddenly looks over at me and says "You've got to admit, this is REAL racing. It's not like the Daytona Prototypes of F1 where all the cars are the same. These guys are really, really racing!"

Not only did she recognize real racing, but she knows the Daytona cars and F1. I haven't been able to watch any of the F1 except for the practice either.

they did not touch, the audi just lost it when it got off the side of the track.....

I think it was a deer in the headlights effect there.

F1 is garbage, DP not so much - the racing in DP is way better than most of the LM series racing. Why I say that is bc Audi and Pukegot don't run all of the races and especially here in the ALMS we barely have any front running prototypes left to run in the series. This was a great 24h of le mans tho, glad to see Corvette back in victory lane especially with their troubles to win here in the states.
