I hate to say it because there is a lot of work put into that one, but it's still pretty ugly. Think of it this way, that much work and those exact style mods on pretty much any other car would look worlds better.

Why, yes - I could indeed see something like that as a Nissan, and I would be very interested as well.

Hey, I've got work to do. Can't be mocking up hypothetical cars in photoshop all day.

    In reply to Tim Baxter:

Maybe not, but you certainly need to make Nissan aware of the possibilities. I like it.

Put the Sentra SE-R's 2.5 liter into it and call it the 250Z?

No, because it would cannibalize sales of the 350Z/370Z convertibles. Same reason why I'm not holding my breath for them to resurrect the 240SX.

Okay, I'll admit the Citroen Dyane is one ugly car, but at the same time Ford was building a nearly as ugly Anglia. The other Citroen shown was a picture of a car(?) that I believe (I could be wrong?) that Citroen is CONSIDERING building.

And the Peugeot? Almost ANY white on white on white convertible looks bad...they may have built it, but who in their right mind buys that color combo? And yeah, not crazy about the car in other colors, either.

I don't think so, Art. If they're talking Miata, it would be significantly smaller/cheaper/slower than the 370Z.

While the answer is seldom Renault, there definitely are certain exceptions to the rule....
