    Pretty wild looking.

The 'Stang is pretty nice. The ejector seat idea seems kinda cool, instead of airbags deploying: EJECT, EJECT, EJECT!!!

The Chally is FUUUUUGGGLY! The rims are nasty, the flares are misshapen, and the "vortex generators" look out of place.

Hooray for government money being given to a "Pimp My Ride" garage to do up those cars.

    UGH.

Oh dear god. Yuck. Though the thought of a semi-flat-black Challenger minus all the other hideous accoutrements makes my pants tight.

I really like the Challenger. It's over the top while Stang looks as bland there as the V6 model does on the street.

Of course it could just be the angles of the shots, cause the Stang looks better than the Challenger on the street

My first thought was "why does that Challenger have a Firebird screaming chicken on it?"

Love the Challenger. Awesome. It's the 21st century KITT.

I've seen so many Mustangs that they' have to throw sulfuric acid on it to make it stand out anymore - way overexposed.

That Challenger looks very cool IMO. And I generally dislike them.

We're fighting to put gas in our planes in the CG. Glad to see the Air Farce is upholding their reputation.

did anyone else pick up on the Challenger's rear flares echoing the shape of the 1971 'cuda "billboards"?

If you've ever seen the kind of cars that are parked at a USAF base, you'd know exactly why these cars are built the way they are. These are going to be excellent recruiting aids.

You all realize the most expensive part of that mustang, including the mustang is the 'actual flight stick'?

Please, if you see a car like this on an Air Force base, it belongs to a junior enlisted member with a pocket full of post deployment pay and eating ramen noodles

While we deserve that, the Air Force is fighting to put gas in our planes as well.

I'm guessing you've never seen the Marine's decked out hummers or the Nascar teams flying very expensive Army and Navy sponsership.

Yeah, I concede.... the CG was part sponsor of Kasey Kahne I think. Bummer that ads are more important than the actual mission. I also think it's a fine line they need to straddle between what appears to be wasteful (subject of this thread) and effective advertising. I don't know the answer.

Oh yeah, and I have noted that the O's in the CG generally drive the shabbiest cars on base. The O-1's always have a flashier car than the O-6, with no exceptions.

Its cause they are single. No suckiling kids to sap money. Thus why I am single and kid-less, and drive a GTO.

Back in the 50's my father was in the AF with the son of the owner of Rexall drugs. The guy got in trouble more than once for driving the same car right down to colour as the base comander.

    Major exception: pilots

Down here it seems that their bonuses go straight into flashy cars. Porsches, more Corvettes than I can count, saw a captain in an E92 M3 a few weeks ago, there's even a new-style Viper running around base.

Thanks for rubbing it in, Goat Man. Now why did I get married? Why did I not pay attention in sex-ed in high school? Putting this particular thing here, causes this reaction, son.

I think unfortunately sometimes having the flashy car is just the catalyst that gets the whole thing going.
