Hey, the rabid FM worship was earned through a lot of hard work!
There have always been options on the market. None have been plug-and-play - the Fuji ones were pretty close, but had little surprises such as fuel lines that weren't rated for fuel injection pressures but were labelled in oddball metric units so most people wouldn't notice until they blew out. Most of the others leave the hard stuff like idle control or air filters out. I've got a set of TWMs on the shelf in the garage that are just looking for an excuse to be used somewhere, though. They have a very yummy throttle linkage.
The ones we're testing on the 2.0 I mentioned have one big advantage over others we've looked at - a burly flange with integrated airhorns we can use as a base for a pressurized plenum
