Porsche pulling out shouldn't have been a big surprise. Penske dropped his cars and went to Grand Am. Dyson pulled the plug on his Porsches last month.
After all, Porsche owns controlling interest in Audi, if it's too expensive for Audi to run a prototype, it's probably too expensive for Porsche too. At least we'll still see plenty of production based privateer Porches racing. mike
