So I've finished watching the latest season with the new Stig. Is it me or does he drive, um, less smoothly than the last guy?

no input on his driving... but I was amazed to see old stig back on the show... now as the stig... but after last seasons debacle it was just surprising to see him... but it was for an awesome cause :)

It is good they can put aside differences for the better of others out there.

The new guy definitely seems comfortable with very high speed oversteer! And there were lot of pretty exceptional lap times.

I notice that too - he seems faster than previous Stigs.

Meh. I'll wait 'til all this comes to BBCUS in a bit...

I will say--I liked seeing the American Stig throw the ZR-1 around--although I wish they showed the (slower???!?!) 458 as well.

I saw a clip of the Stig testing the Lamborghini Aventador from an Autoblog article. I honestly don't know if it was the car or the driver, but that car was flying! It's now the third-fastest car on the lap board behind the new McLaren (also tested by The Stig Mk. III) and the Ariel Atom V-8 (IIRC driven by Stig v2.0).

Either way, I now want an Aventador, even if it doesn't want to kill me like a Diablo or Murcielago. Since I've been corrupted by you guys, it now takes a lot to make me impressed by any car that costs more than I'll make in my lifetime!

My favorite hot lap ever. If you've ever wondered what it feels like to drive a Seven, this pretty much sums it up.

I liked that White Aventador. I also disagree about less lethal = less fun.

I watch that clip all the time. And it makes me want to build a Locost 7 soooo badly.

Thanks for all of your heartfelt comments. I do have a loose driving style compared to the old Stig and like to hang the tail out a bit. Driving the ZR1 over here was a blast, you yanks really can make horsepower, but what is the deal with that interior? Hope you liked my parachuting scene, I wanted to do it without the chute but the producers wouldn't let me.

I think the stig was a neat idea 10yrs ago but IDGAS anymore. Someone needs to tell them they should think up a new idea or just stop already. It is older than a knock-knock joke.

Knock knock jokes are still funny.

I've heard that the New Stig may not even be a guy:

And she's certainly comfortable with high-speed oversteer...
