Says Chrysler on the tailgate. Higher trim package with the woodgrain and the roof rack with spoiler.

I asked my dad and he said '72 Chrysler Town & Country. A Google search seems to confirm he is close.
What cool road trip car!

There is an incredible looking one that just showed up at ianelli autocars in North Ridgeville, OH. They have it parked out front on the display-cars pad. Looks to be bone stock. NOT what I expected to see at a premium-luxury used car lot!

Town and Country, from before the big bumpers started in '73.
I learned to slide in the winter in a '76, same color, woodgrain and all. The tailgate could swing to the side or swing down depending on, IIRC, which way you moved the handle. (Or maybe there was a selector inside, it was long ago)

They do offer the Challenger with all wheel drive, maybe it's one of those.
Sorta cheating because I know the owner. But it has a stroked 4G63 with a decent sized turbo FMIC etc. Way too cool not to post.
I was behind a Ford Falcon Ranchero for a bit on my ride home tonight. While not a show car it looked pretty good! 1960 -1963 for these.

This trend is so lame to me. Every time I see a car like this or an Outback on 31s and no real lift I think Great now it's bad at commuting AND off-roading.
Is this a trend? I haven't really seen it. However, I showed this to the kids and they disagree with you, they said they would do that to their Challenger!

Did it still have a roof? I feel like every one I've seen had the roof and driprails completely rusted out.

That was a lot of sexy in one little caravan.
This just reminded me...... A couple years ago there was a nice original Pantera in a McDonald's parking lot where I was getting a coffee. Stopped to talk to the owner for a minute. I complimented him on the car and especially liked that it was on the original 15 inch wheels, as they just look right on there. He said he wanted to go to 17's because he couldn't find Z rated tires for the 15's. I turned and walked away....
