This past weekend put me on my head (in a good car way) I planned work on my Fiat and XR4, instead I spent it at the JY:

1) Spend a whole weekend pulling a motor and diff out of car at the JY, not because it took that long, but because you don't want to leave...

2) Spend a spare second here or there peeking into the garage at the engine you just pulled knowing it's only a spare, but oh how beautiful...

3) Get a differential out of the JY that only has 10% better gear ratios because you won't have to shift to 3rd on the AutoX course...

As far as #3 goes, if the time charts show an improvement, all the time and effort was worth it.

Sweet. Ill see if the Warden will let me loose. I am getting my Mk3 GTi towed to our shop this weekend so I can start sorting the boxes with motor stuff in it to start building the motor. Thinking about getting a get together soon up at our shop with some brewskis and brats. Have a "Motor Building Party" or "Egyptian Overthrow the Leader so lets Celebrate by Building a VR6 Party..."

will do. Getting the car here I think Sunday. Gotta buy the trans. Someone in Marietta off of Austell Rd. has a trans. Gonna start piecing it together... Ill definitely let you know.

I drove around for 5 weeks with a set of wheels in my trunk in case someone wanted to buy them. Sold them yesterday!

I have been researching how to make my own brush cutter from a push mower...
