Selling for an unbelievable price? Must get rid of quick? Must gut the interior? Alarm is broken? Sounds kinda sketchy....

    1998 BMW M3 4 Door 5 Speed Sedan 90k miles Arctic Silver, black interior 90000 miles VIN# WBSCD9324WEE07829

I will sell this car to someone who will turn it into a track rat or will part out the car to sell the parts. The interior needs to be gutted. The car is actually fully operational and mechanically in tip top condition. I will sell it for an unbelievable price so call/email and give me your best offer. I need to do this quickly. I will explain the details and answer any questions you might have. If you don't plan to gut out the interior or part it out, please don't contact me. Not interested in trading. I own the car, title in hand. Also, please have funding to buy the car as I can't wait for someone that needs to get a loan first or sell existing car first. Apologies in advance if I don't get back to your right away; it's hard to take calls and reply to personal emails during the work hours.

Exterior: Passenger fender is damaged from when I (stupidly) ran it into a concrete beam in a parking deck so it will need replacing (also damaged nose panel b/c it wraps around to fender). Other than that, no accidents, VIN sticker on every panel, excellent paint condition. I have more pics I can send you upon request.

Engine/Drivetrain - excellent, pulls strong, really nothing to complain about. Fed only synthetic oil.

Comes with a crap load of good mods:

Euro floating front rotors Bosch headlights Bilstein shocks Eibach springs X-brace Zionsville Aluminum radiator (lifetime warranty) aluminum thermo housing thermostat metal impeller water pump UUC trans bushings M roadster short shift kit Updated shift bushings Conforti shark software clears all around Euro fog lights pre-wired for valentine one SSI Stealth underpanel Powerflex RTAB K&N filter

Complete cooling system overhaul at 82k miles

Cruise, sunroof, factory spoiler, factory radio w/ trunk 6 CD changer.

Broken: Auto door lock is spotty - works on and off Rear window defroster not working Alarm not working anymore Sunroof switch panel fell off Glove compartment cover needs to be glued back on I have not looked into fixing any of these... car sold as is.

    Call or email if interested.

Smells odd to me, I think you should call him and get 'the story' of why it HAS to be parted/tracked...

If the interior HAS TO BE GUTTED it reminds me of:

I guess your suspicion was correct, since the ad was removed.

I spoke with the seller - he was surprised that his ad was flagged, but I explained that the lack of a real asking price and sketchy wording made it seem like a scam.

He said the previous owner loved dogs, did work for a dog rescue shelter and carried dogs in the car. Sitting in the car makes him (the current seller) itch really bad, so he hasn't driven it in ages. The problem persists no matter how many times he's cleaned and vacuumed it, so in his opinion the interior needs to be replaced.

I recommend that he repost his ad noting this and including an actual asking price. We'll see what comes of it.

I just figured the seller had something of a body odor problem.

Did he say what he would take for it?

He said a parts yard offered him 5500 and a previous caller had offered a grand more. That was already out of bounds of my discretionary budget, so I've not checked craigslist to see if he re-listed.
