I recently read an article and watched a little video review for the new 2014 Subaru Forester Xt. Was wondering what all of you guys thought about it? I am not to big on the looks of it but I do like how they are redoing the chassis tuning to be more similar to that of the Japanese Sti Version Forester unlike in the past of leaving the chassis tuning the same as a n/a model. Maybe it will be an even more fun of a car out of the box now.

I'm not sure if it is going to change for the new one, but in the states we don't get a manual version of the xt. It only came in a 4spd auto for 12/13

On the earlier Foresters, the automatic was considered better for off-road use. I still bought a manual, and mine actually goes off-road.

I read this about the 2014 XT:

It is getting a 2.0 turbo based on the BRZ engine. But...

"Paired to the 2.0-liter is a CVT with six- and eight-speed manual modes."
