Was wondering if 175/50-13 tires will fit (without the stretching crap) on a 7" wheel. It sits pretty much right on point on my 5.5" wheels.

    Anyone know? Thanks.

    They will stretch a bit

I gotta ask though. Where are you finding 175/50-13's these days? They are turning into hens teeth.

Thanks, ditch. That's not much of a stretch at all. I actually already have the set that I bought a couple of years ago that I run sparingly on the car. I have an opportunity to pick up a set of Libras in a 13x7 size.

Dang! I thought a new source might have popped up.

I see that tireseasy lists the Dunlop SP sport 2000 for $116 a tire

wiltheyfit.com is another source of tire fitment that is less embarrasing than tyrestretch.com

    In reply to ditchdigger:

If you curb your wheels because they stick out past your tires (and car), is the resulting damage "stretch marks"?

No, if you curb your wheels it is called driver error.

I was just looking for 175/50/13, what happened to sumitomo?

Gone. Sumitomo HTRs dissapeared last year and with them went 175/50-13, 185/60-13, 215-50/13 and a few other awesome sizes.

There are only a handfull of tires left in the under 22.7" range.

175/70's are the standard 80's econobox spec tire. 22.7 inches of rubbery malaise.

Yeah, lolol. I think I've owned 100,000 sets of 175/70-13's, lolol.

Crap, I just bought some compomotive magnesium 13" turbos for the rabbit. Hope I can find something good for tires.
