oh it was good The French were hauling the whole time. It's a shame for some of the teams that flipped or wrecked their Cayennes. I liked the Land Rover's, FJ80, and those Pajeros too. That is something I would definetly love to do, 2 weeks of going crosscountry through Russia and Mongolia with a Cayenne or something and just to compete against different countries with a close to production offroad vehicle.

you mean nascar TV? Really it's not as good as the days of speed channel. I miss WRC :(

I thought I was watching a celebration of commercials interspersed with some rally coverage. But, the occasional rally coverage was pretty good. Big-ass Land Rovers rule. Cayennes are capable, but still ugly.

I caught some of this event. Not bad, but not WRC.
I have accepted that rally doesn't sell well enough to show on a regular basis. I am having trouble accepting that people guessing what a car will run in the quarter mile does. But NASCAR types golfing?
Oh, and non-motorized snow sports are coming around again to rub in the lack of rally.
yay ... luge ...

yeah I agree with the last three comments 100% and the comment about us having Speed, trust me and the others, Speed is crap, no joke, all dumb shows and NASCAR coverage, I love how the F1 race was in the middle of Race Day, I mean COME ON!!!!!!! Hot Import Night shouldn't be too bad but still.........I want Speedvision back or that Racing Network. I am just sick of NASCAR being the only representation of American motor racing, that is why I love Grassroots, I know, not something you'd usually hear from a 17 year old American from Pennsylvania.......
VERY rare they show actual racing, Runoffs are soon, and hopefully early or late night DTM, V8 Supercars, and BTCC closer to winter.

Trans Siberia Rallye ~RESULTS~ after 14 days of H E double hockey sticks.
The vehicle of choice was the Porsche Cayenne (there was 20 of them).
Team France got first place.
Followed by Team Spain, Germany and Portugal.
Rod Millen's kid, Ryan got 15th place.
The first non-Porsche was a Toyota in 7th place.
There were two Land Rover Defenders (18th and 21st).
Team Britain's Porsche Cayenne apparently burned to the ground.
~CLICK HERE~ to see an amazing video that shows a crash of the #20 Canadian team (at about 45 seconds). During the rollover, the engine ejected and ended up about 20 feet away from the rest of the Cayenne.
Towards the end of the video they walk around the car...the destruction of the car is amazing.

man would that suck, how much are they?
Well, they said when they reached this stage you had to really plan your route and stay alert because of the hidden berms and ditches
