That was a few years ago...? No way in hell I would want to try and calibrate a motor and inverter pairing. From the sounds of it, this project is pretty stagnant...

D'oh, you're right. Saw the headline on Slashdot today and stupidly assumed it wasn't 3 years old.
Never assume that Rob Malda and company are current on ANYTHING. Slashdot has been going downhill for a long time....it was questionable even way back when the polls had a "Cowboy Neal" option
Rob Malda doesn't even work there anymore...he left sometime last year. If anything he was the one keeping things from sliding downhill even faster.
