Hey guys, I have this weird issue happening on my LHS: sometimes, the rear driver's side rear turn signal won't blink. It acts like a burnt-out blub, but usually a simple tap of the cover and it works again. I have replaced the blub twice, but the issue remains. The wiring looks OK, but honestly I wouldn't know what to look for there. It seems to happen more when it's cold outside, or there's been some kind of precipitation. Again, this would lead me to think wiring, but it still has its sheathing.

Any ideas would be super appreciated.

check your grounds and check if the sockets are in good shape. had both issues.

If it is happening when it is cold outside maybe your blinker fluid is freezing

But seriously check the socket for corrosion, clean with a rolled up piece of emery paper and check the ground.

Synthetic Blinker fluid may be the only solution....

Pull the bulb and look at the silver strip at the bottom of the socket. Poke it with a tooth pick or something, it should be arched a bit and be springy. If it's mushed flat and doesn't move, then it's probably got intermittant contact with the bottom of the bulb.

Or go for the Synthetic Blinker Fluid, NAPA got it on sale this week.
