I have a 32' open hauler, weighs around 2500 pounds and works great. I use it to haul salvage cars now, but it spent its first 3 years hauling SpecRX7s and Spec Miatas.
To source one, eBay is your friend. I paid $4k for mine in 2003, and that was a screaming deal at the time as the only ones I could find new or used were at least $10k. Now at any given time there are half a dozen or more 26-36' tag open haulers, dual and tri-axle, and some even have fancy LED lights all 'round.
Tundra will pull it just fine, although if you put anything heavier on it you might find it doesn't come off the line very quickly. Only thing to watch out for is while towing, remember you'll have the maneuverability of an 18 wheeler... those right turns have gotta be wiiiiiiide.
Depending on the length you go with, and your state laws, if you find yourself in need of expanding your length Take 3 trailers sells ready to go "flippers" that will give you another 3' of working space, and are within the Texas DOT regulations (allowing you to have 7' of overhang behind a trailer if its a motor vehicle).
