Is there a company that makes universal, cut to fit, or made to order progressive rate coil springs? I was thinking a set of those would help the handling on my old 73 Mustang. What do you guys think? Would it be a bad idea to replace my 620 springs with progressive rate springs?

Looks like you can get custom springs made.

I wonder what rate range would be good for my car? Probably 500 to 700, but that is just a wild guess. http://truck.hownd.com/mfglink-232-national_spring.html

what else are you doing to the suspension, mostly in terms of your shocks?

I was figuring on upgrading to a set of adjustible shocks. I would think that I can find a set to optimize my car's handling.
