Yup. The brand new one. I would have gotten a better angle but didn't want to make the girl driving it think I was stalking her. 

I spotted this entering a traffic circle on my way home yesterday.

I think it is a thing but I am betting it is a really early one.

I saw a beautiful Alpina B6 on my way to work tonight. It was a beautiful dark blue. It sounded really good as well. I was behind him for probably 20 miles of my 25 mile commute.

Saw a first gen Mazda 6 wagon today. Didn’t even know these existed! Wasn’t able to grab pick on the hwy

Z8 today.  Not unusual but pretty rare.  NY tags.  Not pristine but pretty straight.  Top down.  Could well live here as nobody seems to want to re-register their vehicles and pay excise.  Those exhaust in bumper cut-outs haven't aged well. 

The other day I passed this pretty neat looking off-road race truck being towed. The tailgate said "Buzzin' Half Dozen" and there was a sticker on it proclaiming it to be a winner/champion of some sort at "Rolling W Ranch" which is a local track I've been meaning to check out someday.

Was not able to get a pic but I saw a BMW Isetta in rush hour traffic on my way home yesterday.

Got behind this guy on the way in to work this morning.  It was 47F out at the time.

I looked.  Ohio.  Man I'm staying south of the Mason-Dixon the rest of my life. 

In traffic today I found myself behind a Maserati.   Pretty sure the small figure said ghibli (sp).   Modern model.

The space shuttles did not have a very good retirement plan.  This one is working as a food truck for movie sets now.

Supposedly you can still find random abandoned ones in North Africa, but generally speaking, rare as hen's teeth in any kind of conditon.

It is probably a replica.  The is an company that makes a version called the Kooblekar.

This is from a few years back, but I caught this E-Type casually cruising on I-78 on my way to work.

Okay, so I wasn't technically commuting yet, but this was in the parking lot when I walked out to go home yesterday.

So, that got me a chance to talk to the owner. Custom order, custom color, all carbon fiber body Aston Martin superleggera. 

The owner showed me a picture of the president of the company signing the engine, "when I had it at Monaco."

Sorry, the signature doesn't really show up in my photo.

Then he offered to let me sit in it. And then had me start the engine.

You never know what you're going to see in Daytona. I told the guy it was always fun when the scca was in town, he said "Oh, I just live over on the beach."

I got followed home by a Corrado today.

I think the only other Corrados I have ever seen were at rallycrosses, and they were all owned by the same person.

A Diesel Colorado camper doesn’t pop up often on the streets of Manhattan.  This one is taking the long way home to Argentina after visiting Alaska.
