First the story….. I have a 2007 VW GTI with the leather seats. There is a seam in the leather which is directly under my tail bone which becomes uncomfortable after sitting in the seat for around an hour and sometimes less. I like the car but am thinking of getting rid of it at a great loss because quite literally the car can be a pain in the ass.
I just came up with the idea that if I could find a good Upholstery Shop they could remove the two panels and sew in a single panel. I would think I need something more than a seat cover shop. Does anyone have a shop they would recommend from say South Palm Beach County to North Brevard County? For a good shop I would make a couple of trips to Daytona. Also does anyone have any input on my idea?
