I love my C3, but am working on an IT Rabbit to have fun with at the track and for the occasional autocross. You can find $5000 drivers all day long. I would look that way. And, Vette owners need to get over "originality" as a justification for ownership and price. Hell I've got Jetta Recaros in mine!

I see very few vette's for under $5k. People think they've got a Corvette and it's worth something, even if it's sitting in a field rotting into the ground.
Too many people watching the Barrett-Jackson auctions on SpeedTV. It's not just what people want for old C3's, it's what they all want for any "ran when parked" POS they have in the yard.
