those of you that are familiar with how VIR looks now might get a kick out of this video of the track before the rebuild

Wow. Never been to VIR, but been around it a bunch in iRacing. It's come a long way, and it's nice to see some of the trees they preserved during the renovation.
I never knew it was this bad before they rebuilt the track. It's obvious that the owners/developers already had a good idea of what they were doing when they shot this video, and I think what they did was brilliant.

Most of it looks somewhat familiar except for the front straight. Front straight looks more like a tree lined country road in that video.

Awesome vid, thanks for posting. Hard to believe the track looked like that just 3 short years before I moved down to Virginia.
