I've been kicking around sweet engine swaps for the RX-7 and I keep coming back to a diesel sports car. I know I'm twisted, but the sound and power of the Audi R10 has me interested. The V10 TDI debuted in the US in 2002 in the Passat 4motion and Toe-rag, so there is the possibility of finding a front clip (albeit remote).
First thing I need to figure out if it will even fit in the engine bay. I can't find much info on the engine at all online. Does anyone know where to find the dimensions for the engine?
