You may remember the previous thread where we debated keeping the scars/patina/etc that the Wartburg has earned through her adventures or finishing it off all pretty.
Well we've reached a compromise, partly due to time constraints and partly due to wanting the car to be able to tell its story.
Just a little sneak preview for now.

Can't wait to see it up close. I'm glad I'll make it with a car, but gotta say this makes my effort feel pretty weak in the knees
Nice job on the badge. Did you do it yourself or did you send it out for multi-color powdercoating or something? I'm guessing you painted it yourself, but was just curious.

Yeah, just me, some Testors paints and a fine brush. Tedious damn work.
