    I believe 96, that's when i took the pics. They tested it in Charlotte and were happy with the results but Ford didn't want Lincolns to be race cars. Someone also tested a Cougar, I think Cale Yarborough and it went poorly.

    I see them all the time riding on the ground like that. What happens with the air system to cause that? (as you can tell, I'm not familiar with them).

    Another closet VII and VIII fan here. Dad bought a VII LSC new in 88 and my uncle bought an VIII in 97. I did a mild lowering on my dad's VII by raising the ride height sensors to their highest position (There are 3 mounting positions).

    Duke, did you ever get those rims and the suspension straightened out? Do you even still have the car?
