I believe 96, that's when i took the pics. They tested it in Charlotte and were happy with the results but Ford didn't want Lincolns to be race cars. Someone also tested a Cougar, I think Cale Yarborough and it went poorly.

Another closet VII and VIII fan here. Dad bought a VII LSC new in 88 and my uncle bought an VIII in 97. I did a mild lowering on my dad's VII by raising the ride height sensors to their highest position (There are 3 mounting positions).

Duke, did you ever get those rims and the suspension straightened out? Do you even still have the car?
