What's the story on the car with the Michigan plates? I thought for some reason it was based down with you guys.

The Tirerack/GRM STR car ended up in 3rd and 4th place (Bottom of page 7)
Ah ok... i only was there the second day, which i guess is why i thought they won.
Didn't go, but MAN! was attendance down this year!? I remember seeing 60+ cars in FS and SS not that long ago!?
I don't know what usually shows up, but there were about 300 drivers.

The car is on loan, so it gets Manufacturer tags from Michigan (which is where most of the M-tags are issued.)
The MX-5 spends most of its time in Indiana with Woody and Trent from the Tire Rack.
we had over 300 entries starting Sat. Apparently the largest tour of the year.

that is exactly it. I saw nationals and I didn't realize they meant national TOUR!
I met John when he brought the GRM STR MX-5 to an SCCA event here in the Chicago area. He was really nice and he drives pretty well too.
