That's right, my Contours were 4x108. Having a hard time keeping all my wheel specs straight.

I got nothing. I have failed.

Closest that I could come up with were maybe some Epsilon copies....mainly due to the rivets at the top part of the "x" and the 1 center cap lock.

    They look good though.

So SFI got back to me and apparently they were built by "empco industries"/"ensure wheels"

    Hmmm...

Do you have a date/era to go by? If you do try finding some car magazines from that period and looking for pictures in ads.

I had a set of wheels like that on my old Eclipse. No identifying marks whatsoever. We determined they were "MaxLoads"

I found some Empco center caps on eBay:

    http://shop.ebay.com/i.html?_nkw=empco+wheels&_armrs=1&_from=&_ipg=

I also saw a for-sale thread on another forum for some Empco-made Enkei 92 look-alikes. It looks like making replicas of old-school JDM wheels was their specialty.

Empco Industries Inc. became Falken Tire Corporation in 1991.

The SFI certification for these wheels was registered in July 1985.

Now to dig up my old road and tracks, etc!!

    Thanks for the support guys!

those should also fit on a 4 lug porsche 924.... i looked but couldnt find any examples that matched exactly, but there were allot of aftermarket wheels offered in that pattern late 70[s, early 80's that had that bbs look to them.

    Yeah I thought so!

You guys have any idea where I should advertise these? I feel i'm going to have a tough time selling them.

Maybe advertise on focaljet.com (Ford Focus) and old-school Audi sites (does vwvortex.com have an Audi section??). Maybe specialstage.com?? Not sure how many Focuses are rallied, though, or even if a 14-inch rim would be appealing...

They'd be appealing to someone who'd want to widen them 2" and run 165mm wide tires on them.

Already have them on the VW forums, i will try focaljet.com, a 14" would fit, and then they could put siqqqq ass spacers on the car too.

Too bad they're one piece. It sucks because after all this hassle a bunch of wicked sets of wheels popped up locally, 15" revolution 5 spokes for example, for 300$..

    f' me.

They will also fit a Merkur XR4Ti. A buddy of mine wants some gold wheels, bit I don't think he wants 14s.

Yeah these are a useless size.

    Hyundai pony would work.
